Here are three reasons to watch ONE: Battleground.

ONE Championship returns with six fights spread across three different martial arts. The fight card will include four MMA fights, one Kickboxing and one Muay Thai. Among those fights there will be a variety of fighters looking to make a statement. From 17-year-old Victoria Lee to Aung La N Sang in the main co-event, ONE: Battleground is sure to be an entertaining event.

The main event will pit two strawweight Muay Thai fighters looking to hold ONE Championship gold. Defending champion Sam-A Gaiyanghadao has had a pretty legendary career so far. That being said, Prajanchai has the skills to dethrone the champion.

In the main co-event, Aung La looks to bounce back against Leandro Ataides. After losing both of her belts to Reinier de Ridder in the past year, Aung La should be prepared to do anything to win. On the contrary, Ataides has recently performed well and has the opportunity to steal the show from Aung La.

World-class Muay Thai fighters go to war in ONE: Battleground main event

At the age of 37, Sam-A holds a Muay Thai lifetime record of 369-47-9. Not only is his record impressive, Sam-A also holds the Muay Thai and Kickboxing strawweight title for ONE.

As the miles of war begin to catch up with Sam-A, a new challenger seeks to force the torch. Training in the famous PK Saenchai Muay Thai Gymnasium, Prajanchai works with some of the best trainers and fighters in the world.

Holding a record of 337-51-3, Prajanchai is two-time Lumpinee champion and two-time Rajadamnern champion. Prajanchai also became a two-division WBA Southeast Asian champion. All things considered, Prajachai is the perfect opponent for Sam-A.

17-year-old Victoria Lee returns for her second pro fight

Being the brother of two ONE champions, Lee has enormous potential. At 17, Lee began his MMA journey five months ago at the age of 16. She made her professional debut against Sunisa Srisen (4-1) and entered the cage with high expectations. Lee showed she was the real deal by finishing Srisen in the second round by submission.

Upon entering ONE: Battleground, all eyes will be on Lee in the opening fight. Not only is Lee a talented fighter, but her age makes her such an intriguing prospect. Considering that she is linked to Christian Lee and Angela Lee, becoming a ONE champion seems like fate.

That being said, Lee will have to focus on the opponent in front of her. Lee faced 3-2 Luping Wong, who is looking to use her experience advantage. Each victory will take Lee to a new level of notoriety, and ONE: Battleground gives him the last opportunity to shine.

Aung La N Sang back on the road to title fight

Aung La was on top of the world not so long ago. Holding two championship belts, Aung La towered over everyone in his path. Suddenly rising competitor De Ridder earned his title shot. After winning the middleweight belt, De Ridder also won Aung La’s light heavyweight belt. Aung La went from two-division champion to contender in just six months.

De Ridder may be the champion right now, but he better watch his back as Aung La is coming for revenge. Ready to take on Ataies in ONE: Battleground, Aung La should be hungrier than ever for a victory. Ataies enters this fight with the same intentions, previously losing to De Ridder in his last fight. Both fighters want to avenge their loss to De Ridder, but only one can emerge victorious.

ONE: Battleground takes place on Friday, July 30, live from Singapore. Follow FanSided for all your live news and highlights.
