Boxing Fighters System 2: WKN kickboxing world championship in Nîmes

The kickboxing world championship returns to France on Saturday 4 December with “Boxing Fighters System 2” taking place at the Salle Pablo Neruda in Nîmes. The event, presented by Habib Bakir and Olivier Cerdan, features some of the host nation’s top representatives against international opponents in a series of WKN title fights.

In the main event, Christian Berthely and Giorgi Kankava of Georgia go head-to-head for a prestigious World Kickboxing Network super welterweight title. In the main co-event, Hakim Ketaieb and Antonio Campoy from Spain face off in the WKN welterweight world championship bout.

The rest of the previously announced battle map has undergone several changes. The planned WKN World super heavyweight title eliminator between Fabrice Aurieng and Frederic Sinistra of Belgium has been canceled as the latter contracted COVID-19.

In addition, due to new restrictions, Germany’s Florian Kroger and Slovakian Milan Kratochvila are no longer competing in the WKN Super Middleweight Grand Prix. They are replaced by Italians Luca Carnevali and Alessio Zeloni. The roster for the foursome also includes local Tarik Benhamed and Latvian Raimonds Aukstikalnis.

In addition, Frenchman Bryan Lang will now face Spaniard Moha Hamdi, who replaced German Kevin Burmester. The stream BFS 2 Nîmes the fight card can be found below.
