Message from Angela Lee to her fans and opponent ONE X Stamp Fairtex

On Saturday, March 26, ONE Championship will have its biggest event yet, ONE X. Headlining this historic 10th anniversary card will be ONE Dominant Atomic Weight Queen Angela Lee. Lee will be defending his title for the fifth time against rising Muay Thai phenom, Stamp Fairtex.

This main event battle is a fight that everyone in MMA has been clamoring for. Stamp, having already won the ONE Muay Thai and kickboxing belts, is set to make history by winning an unprecedented third belt in MMA. She made a tear in the ONE atomweight World Grand Prix tournament, beating the grapplers in their own game.

As for Lee, she was dominant in her atomweight run, winning the belt at just 19 and defending it 4 times. The 25-year-old has been away from the game for over two years to focus on her newborn daughter, but now she’s bringing her back to defend her throne once again.

In a Twitter post from ONE, Angela Lee sent a chilling message to her opponent ONE X coupled with a heartwarming message to her fans:

“Hey Stamp, you better watch your neck. And fans, I can’t wait to see you all. Come see me defend my title for the fifth time on Saturday night.”

As a grappling specialist, it’s no surprise that Lee is looking to grab one of Stamp’s members and take him home. Although the Muay Thai phenom has faced and beaten grapplers in the field before, it’s safe to say that Lee is a step above any grappler she’s faced in the past.

ONE X is the biggest and busiest martial arts event ever

With 18 fights spread over 3 parts of the day, ONE X is the most stacked and high-profile martial arts event of the year so far. Not only is the event filled with exciting fights in MMA, kickboxing, Muay Thai and submission grappling, but the fighters involved can headline their own shows.

Along with the main event between Lee and Stamp, we’ll see a mixed rules contest between fearsome ONE Muay Thai Flyweight Champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon and former UFC Flyweight Champion Demetrious Johnson.

This fight has the most intrigue out of all the fights on the map. Ahead of that blockbuster fight will be ONE Flyweight King Adriano ‘Mikinho’ Moraes’ title defense against heavy-handed Japanese Yuya ‘Little Piranha’ Wakamatsu.
