ONE Championship, based in Singapore, has just confirmed that a contingent of four fighters from the Philippine team Lakay will travel to ONE: Winter Warriors II.

Kevin Belingon and Danny Kingad are expected to make their long-awaited return to the cage.

No.2 bantamweight Belingon is looking to return to the winning column after a three-fight slippage against South Korean “Pretty Boy” Kwon Won II.

“We are honored by the confidence that ONE Championship has placed in Team Lakay. This is a huge opportunity for us to end the year on a positive note, and we are very proud to represent the Philippines on the world’s largest martial arts competition stage, ”Sangiao said.

The famous mixed martial arts team produced top athletes that ONE Championship fans enjoyed watching in the Circle.

Strawweight champion Joshua Pacio may be the only Filipino currently holding a title in the company, but the influx of talent should be able to compete for a title very soon.

“Our Warriors will face a handful of very tough opponents, so it won’t be easy. Please rest assured that we are working twice in the gym to produce a favorable result. With our hard work and dedication, we will triumph, ”Sangiao said.

More fights should be added to the map in the coming days.

ONE: Winter Warriors II will be recorded at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on December 3 and will be broadcast live via delayed tape on December 17.
