This AI smart crib gently bounces to wake babies back to sleep
There is nothing in the world more valuable to new parents than sleep. To help you out, Cradlewise has developed a smart crib that uses AI and a built-in monitor to help your little one sleep as long as possible. An elegantly designed cradle made of white and light colored wood, it features an arch above the cradle that holds the monitor and camera. The bed portion of the cradle can be lowered as the child ages so that they can move from a cradle to a cradle.
The Cradlewise bassinet teaches your child’s sleep patterns and senses when they start to move and wake up. When this happens, it automatically begins to bounce back gently to help the child fall back to sleep before they start to fuss or cry. After your baby goes back to sleep, the cradle will stop moving. It can also play music if you prefer, and the cradle will learn your child’s habits to create personalized “sleep recipes” of their favorite sleep, wake patterns and sounds.
The monitor also provides video feed so parents can monitor their baby from anywhere through the app. The app will also provide analytics on how your child sleeps, send notifications, and control crib functionality. However, the cradle will also respond to a hand placed in front of the sensor so you don’t have to search for your smartphone in the middle of the night to keep it from bouncing.
While not yet widely available, the company has just successfully completed a series of beta tests in the Bay Area and plans to take pre-orders for the Cradle in March.
