Cannon, who hosted the very first Triad fight event on November 27, 2021, featuring the legendary hard rock band Metallica, resumes his role of Triad Combat II, accompanied by coaches; Double heavyweight boxing world champion Shannon ‘Let’s GO Champion’, Briggs (boxing) and former UFC light heavyweight world champion Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson (MMA). Among the accolades received from international sports media for the inaugural Triad Combat was a Top Ten Combat Sports Event Award in 2021 from the popular UK-based outlet. The event was also hailed by many media platforms as real game changer in the sports and entertainment industry.

Triad fight is a revolutionary new fighting team sport that integrates the rules of boxing and MMA in an aggressive and swift manner, with fighters competing against each other in a specially designed triangular ring over two minute rounds featuring boxers professionals facing professional fighters in mixed martial arts. The specific currency of level the playing field between the two sports using crossed gloves and with authorized attire, the aim is to offer boxing and MMA fighters an even battlefield where no opponent has a greater advantage.

Triad fight II will be produced again by the winner Nigel lythgoe, the visionary of the Triller Fight Club in addition to the producer and creative force behind ‘American Idol’ and ‘So You Think You Can Dance’.

Triad Combat II is featured by the previously announced epic nine-round heavyweight clash between the winner of Triad Combat I Kubrat ‘The Cobra’ Pulev from Sofia, Bulgaria and former UFC heavyweight world champion Junior Dos Santos from Salvador, Bahia, Brazil.

In addition, previously announced for Triad Combat II is a seven-round cruiserweight bout between former lightweight heavyweight boxing world champion “Bad” Chad Dawson from New Haven, CT and former UFC Light Heavyweight World Champion Vitor ‘Le Phenom’ Belfort from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Four exciting undercard fights have also been announced for Triad Combat II.

Among the fights on the undercard, the professional boxer all in action and always aggressive Armin ‘The Prince of Bosnia’, Mrkanovic, (10-3, 5 KOs), from Queens, NY collides with Joe ‘Stitch Em Up’ Schilling, from Los Angeles, California in a infallible bomb fights away over seven laps in the light heavyweight division. Mrkanovic is making his long-awaited return to combat, with his last competition taking place on March 31, 2019, stopping Wilmer Mejia in the third round in the Dominican Republic. A veteran of Bellator and Bellator Kickboxing, ‘blood and guts’ warrior, Schilling had won six fights in a row before losing at Bellator 229 to Tony Johnson.

Competing in the featherweight division in a scheduled seven-round bout to Triad Combat II, heavy-handed boxer and junior welterweight champion of the USBA, Samuel ‘The Tsunami’ Teah, (18-4-1, 8 KOs), of Philadelphia, PA takes on a veteran MMA, Jimmie ‘EL Terror’ Rivera, (23-5), of New Jersey. Teah returns to action after a devastating first round knockout of Larry Fryers on September 17, 2021. Unbeaten for five years in the UFC, Bellator, CFFC and WSOF, Rivera is looking to bounce back into the winning column after a tough fought loss to Pedro Munhoz on February 27, 2021 at UFC Fight Night.

Also fighter in the featherweight division over seven rounds, veteran boxer and former world champion Toughman Dakota lingers, (12-5-3, 8 KOs), of Buckhannon, WV, takes on an MMA fighter Sam Sicilia, (17-11), from Spokane, WA. Fighting at Madison Square Garden on October 31, 2021, Linger fought to a hotly contested draw against announced hopeful and undefeated Mathew Gonzalez in six rounds. Sicilia fights for the first time in Triad Combat after a third round knockout by Talon Hoffman on August 26, 2021 during the Conquest of the Cage event in her hometown.

Fighter in a five-round bantamweight bout, Stephanie Han, (1-0) of El Paso, TX opposite Claudia Zamora, (3-2), fighter in Miami, FL. Han makes her Triad Combat debut in her home country after her first professional boxing victory on October 30, 2021, a four-round unanimous decision over Isabel Garcia in Las Cruces, NM. Previously, on a three-game winning streak, MMA fighter Zamora launched into battle after a fierce clash with Marina Mokhnatkina on August 19, 2021.
