UFC 263 Adesanya vs Vettori Odds, Picks & Predictions

UFC fight cards are always better with title fights. We have two at UFC 263 and both are revenge, even though only one was a strap fight. Deiveson Figueiredo and Brandon Moreno fought for a draw at UFC 256 and they will give another chance to see if a winner is determined in Saturday night’s rematch.

This is not the main event, however. The main game features Israel Adesanya and Marvin Vettori in a rematch of Adesanya’s split-decision victory on April 24, 2018. Since then, Adesanya has won the UFC middleweight championship and has not lost. in this weight class. Vettori has won five in a row.

It was a beautiful night of fighting from Glendale, Arizona on Saturday June 12th.

You’ll have a great evening if you can pick the winner of the main event and take advantage of one of the two big sports betting promotions this week.

Just to throw in some love for another sportsbook here in our fight preview, we’ll be looking at the odds of BetMGM sports betting, or one Risk-free bet up to $ 600 is available if you create an account. You don’t even have to make your first bet on UFC 263, but the option is there.

Let’s look at some of the fights, with previews of the two title fights, and then some top bets.

UFC betting odds – Adesanya (-275) vs Vettori (+210)

Israel Adesanya just suffered his first career loss, but he never lost as a middleweight. Adesanya attempted to become a two-time champion, but failed in March against Jan Blachowicz in the fight for the light heavyweight championship. It was a humbling experience for Adesanya, who had issues with the bigger and stronger Blachowicz.

His combat IQ and athleticism were surpassed by Blachowicz’s power. That’s something Adesanya doesn’t have to worry about here against Marvin Vettori. Where Blachowicz was 20 pounds on Adesanya and about the same length, Vettori will fall into the 185 pound weight class and be four inches shorter than Adesanya.

This fight has a contrast of styles. Adesanya has 15 KOs. He wants to strike. He wants to fight. But, he wants to do it tactically. Vettori has nine career wins and just two knockouts. The 27-year-old Italian wants the fight on the pitch. He struggles to finish off his opponents when he does, but he often impresses judges enough to win unanimously.

Adesanya’s withdrawal defense was exposed a bit by Blachowicz, but there was also a power disadvantage and Blachowicz was about as long. Vettori doesn’t have any of these things.

Adesanya may seem like a big favorite for a rematch of a split decision from just over three years ago, but the -275 price tag is justified here. Adesanya is +145 per decision at BetMGM Sportsbook. It seems like the most likely outcome here, as Vettori has never lost by stoppage.

Pick: Adesanya by decision (+145)

UFC 263 preview – Figueiredo (-225) vs. Moreno (+175)

The odds of this rematch between Deiveson Figueiredo and Brandon Moreno should draw attention. The two fought for a draw at UFC 255, but Figueiredo is still more than a $ 2 favorite. It’s important to keep in mind that Figueiredo was -300 for the first fight, so there was an adjustment depending on what happened.

The first fight was fascinating. Figueiredo set the UFC record for the fastest turnaround time between fights for the main event title. Moreno was also in action on UFC 255, but against Brandon Royval. He won by knockout in the first round. Figueiredo also won in the first round over Alex Perez. This set up the huge title fight for the main event.

It was a great fight and a draw, as the stats turned out to be very similar for both fighters. Figueiredo had some dehydration the day before the fight and was in fact in the hospital for fluids. Spending 25 minutes the next night was truly impressive.

Figueiredo is now at what appears to be a price cheap enough to bet on. He’s more accomplished in the division and the longer battle camp should help him more. Moreno’s age was a helpful factor in the first fight, but it’s hard to call him one now.

Picks: Deiveson Figueiredo (-225)

Best UFC 263 Bets

As we walk through the rest of the map, let’s take a look at some of the best UFC bets:

Movsar Evloev (-250) vs. Hakeem Dawodu (+195)

Hakeem Dawodu has an impressive record, but he’s on the verge of losing some of his recent fights with wins by split decision. There was no question about the winner in Movsar Evloev’s fights. The undefeated Evloev is a decision machine and there are many ways he can control fights, while Dawodu just wants to fight and brawl. Evloev will win this fight. You can make it by decision to reduce the juice if you want to.

Drew Dober (-145) vs. Brad Riddell (+120)

It’s a stylistically bad match for Brad Riddell. Riddell is a successful forward, but the guys who beat Drew Dober are able to fight on the canvas. Dober has great hitting power and each of his last three wins has been a knockout. His recent losses were caused by submission.

Riddell has yet to earn a KO victory or stoppage in the UFC. Dober’s weakness is ground defense, but his opponent can’t exploit it.
