In a new video, Chimaev and Jack Hermansson were seen weighing in for their wrestling bout. They later had a friendly confrontation. Both UFC fighters will be seen wrestling at Bulldog Fight Night 9. The PPV event will take place on November 19 in Gothenburg, Sweden, and both fighters will engage in freestyle wrestling.

The fight of “Borz” and Hermansson will be the main event and their respective fans are, of course, delighted to see this match. However, there is something else about the weigh-in that totally shocked fans.
Should Khamzat Chimaev move into the middleweight division?
After watching the weigh-in video, many fans were of the opinion that Chimaev should fight in the UFC middleweight division, not welterweight. This is because the Russian-born fighter looked a lot bigger than Hermansson.

It appears that Chimaev was much closer to his weight during the weigh-in and looked huge. His heavy weight and ability to reduce weight for fights could help him occupy at least two UFC divisions in the future. However, as of yet, Chimaev has yet to conquer the welterweight division. He’s caused a lot of chaos and it looks like he will continue to do so.
It would be interesting to see the outcome of Khamzat Chimaev’s fight against Jack Hermansson. If Chimaev does manage to win, the possibility of him dominating two divisions in the UFC could arise in the future.
